The City of Phoenix recommends taking the Valley Metro Light Rail to the event if possible to cut down on traffic. Lots of folks start showing up several hours ahead of time, and the crowds get bigger every year. Bring your own chairs and blankets for seating, and remember that spots along the parade route are first-come, first-served. Feel free to bring a cooler, but alcohol and glass containers are not allowed.

Location: The parade begins at the intersection of Central and Montebello Avenues at 7 pm and continues through Downtown Phoenix, finishing at Indian School Road and 7th Street.
