Say hello to Shorty, our beloved 1965 VW “half-short” Bus! With a body that’s 2 feet shorter than a standard VW Bus, Shorty’s unique size only adds to his one-of-a-kind charm—without sacrificing any of his classic driving performance.
Under the hood, Shorty is powered by a spirited 1915cc flat four gasoline engine with dual Kadron carburetors, giving him a little extra zip (well, as much zip as a VW Bus can muster). While he might not be built for speed, he’s always ready for a cruise.
No AC? No problem! Shorty keeps things cool the old-school way—just pop open those safari windows and let the breeze do the work. There’s no heat either, but with his sunny personality, who needs it?
Shorty proudly calls Ahwatukee home, and you might just spot him around town. If you do, don’t forget to flash a peace sign—he loves making new friends on the road!
