Trusted Pediatric Care, Rooted in Experience
Dr. John Culp has been bringing smiles to little faces (and their parents!) for over 30 years. After earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Temple University in 1992, he followed his passion for tiny teeth and big personalities to Baylor University, where he completed his specialty in Pediatric Dentistry in 1994. He’s proud to be a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry—and even prouder to have been Ahwatukee’s very first pediatric dentist!
Dr. Culp is all about making dental visits a positive experience. His approach is warm, welcoming, and always focused on educating families so they can feel confident about their child’s dental journey. Whether it’s a first check-up or cavity crusade, Dr. Culp blends expert care with a healthy dose of compassion and fun.
He’s a lifelong learner who keeps his skills sharp by diving into dental journals, conferences, and the latest clinical innovations. He’s an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry—whew!
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Dr. Culp enjoying life with his wife Karen and their three grown sons, who are off living their best lives. He’s still their biggest fan, cheering them on from the sidelines (when they let him), and in his downtime, he’s usually out cycling, catching a hockey game, or finding new ways to stay active and adventurous.
